Professor Deutscher is well-known internationally for her studies of critical theory of politics and law, with focus on race and gender. She has made generally recognised innovative contributions in the field and has a great ability to constantly re-explore the productive possibilities of thought. During her stay in Germany, Professor Deutscher will focus on the concept of capacity in a critical theory of rights.
